Good win for Grant. Fun game to watch. With the exception of Montgomery SK is not missing anyone. Monson and Ayers are out of picture stop talking about them. Yes unfortunate for SK. Neither team shot well. The fouls about same. I think the key was Grant played tough man D holding Sampson to only 10. Also SK usually hits more than one three. I hope both teams go deep into regionals.

Not sure how two full fledge starters are out of the picture but okay.

One might. Who knows.

Grant county's biggest game of the year is SK.

Nope. It is the 2nd biggest.

Congrats to Coach Hicks and his players! Claimed the 1seed for the district, first time ever since they started seeding in the 32nd. Keep up the good work.

First thing you've said right in this thread. HOLDING Sampson all night....

Yes, just like they were HOLDING Tyler Carr ALL NIGHT!

It was a physical game both ways. Both teams attacked the rim hard and checked/held cutters all night. Grant won because they were better than Simon last night. They won the first game because they were better than Simon. If they win the district title it will be because they are better than Simon. Just like Simon has been better than Grant County for the past ten years or so since they came together in the same district. It was not at all a dirty game and both teams for the most part exhibited good sportsmanship. Too much hate on here today. No need for any side to criticize the other.

Holding and shoving, he still has a knot on his head from the "Throw Down" last night.
