With the All "A" regionals starting, who is the favorite to cut down the nets in Richmond two Sundays from now?? State rankings say Owensboro Catholic (#6) and University Heights (#10) should be overwhelming favorites, but since both could meet in the second round, only one can advance to the finals. This tourney has certainly had it's share of upsets, so what's everyone think??

UHA is a little overranked at #10, but is still one of the favorites. The Blazers could have a tough time in the regional ... they could have to beat much-improved Fort Campbell and Trigg County on back-to-back nights.

Owensboro Cath is the best All A school I have seen this year. Not very deep though. Good shooters. Good big man. Great Defensive Unit. They are the team to watch.

I agree that Trigg Co., UHA, and Owensboro Cath. are the clear cut favorites.

It's a shame only one of these will make the final four!

So Fairview's already won? I missed that, who'd they beat in the final?

Fairview beat Menifee 63-60 in OT in one SF and Elliott County beat West Carter 66-53 in the other SF. Fairview took out Elliott County 78-48 in Saturday's title game.

Heath is no longer eligible for the All A. there enrollment is too high.

Sweet 16 is correct about Heath. They would be a team to be reckoned with if eligible. St. Mary and Mayfield are the top two seeds in the regional tournament.
