Agreed. I'm not even sure why they had him play in the tourney mentioned. It's not like he's going to be teammates with those boys down the road.

Did Eric Baugh play for VM? He is a great all around athlete.

 

I looked for Eric, but did not see him. Eric had a great Cross Country season and from what I know of him he is a quality young person. Look for him to do big things in track this season as well.

It was for Villa's 7th/8th grade team from what I understand. I did not see it with my own eyes, but we have a couple of parents at Dixie who also have 7th grade players at Turkeyfoot. They were pretty shocked because we had just seen him play against our varsity, and then he played against our 7th grade team. They said it was Villa's combined 7th/8th grade team.

 

My understanding is that if you aren't in high school and if your school is not in the middle school organization, then there is no rule broken...?

Cole did NOT play for Villa's 7th/8th Grade Team, Villa does have several 7th and 8th graders that play for the JV squad and for the 7th/8th grade team perhaps they confused him with one of those players.
