Top ten teams and players in your region (Mid Season)

Featured Replies

Also Creek already beat Station and you can't rank teams on what might happen, you can only go on past results, and Creek handled station in game 1.

Like I said they are neck and neck. They played eachother 2 months ago. Its amazing how much a team can improve if you give them time.

IMO Brossart is a much better team than they were in December 2005 and will be better yet in late February.

Also Scott will be a handful for cc.

Good points 3311, and welcome to the site!! I'd argue that Campbell's strength of schedule gives them an advantage over Brossart?? Who'd they play except Pendleton who BB's played twice, Mason and part of Holmes?? They stayed home and lost their own tourney, while Brossart was winning the Ashland Invitational!! I also think Scott will be a test for them.

You are missing Dunbar from the list. I think they are a top 10 team in the 11th and need not be underestimated.

How do you get Clay 4th and North 3rd. Clay just beat them Friday night, and they were up 20 in the game. Where is Swafford at in your player rankings????? He is probably the best big man in the region.

I agree.... Clay has to be above North. Swafford deserves to me in the mix as well...... but I wouldnt call him the best big man in the region. This region does include a state champion and tourney MVP.

No offense, but until Highlands beats Holmes or they play a schedule the strength of Holmes. They are number 2, They have a good team, but they aren't on Holmes's level imo. There isn't five better players in NKY than Jefferson or Rice. I like your support of your team, but lets look outside the cakebox and put a little more thought into this. You have Justin Pelle on the list (not a 9th player) but you don't have Greg Rice.

Definetly agree Holmes is #1. until beaten by either Highlands or CovCath. Is the 9th region tournament draw still a blind draw or are they seeding the draw now?

I stand corrected, thank you. Greg Rice should fill that spot most definitely.

I really think everyone is going to be shocked when it comes tourney time. I really think there are going to be some major upsets. There are several teams with losing records right now that could do a 180 and start winning some games, that is of course if the coaches get their heads on straight and focus on winning.

Holmes has four of the top ten players in the ninth????????Then it should be a cake walk through the district and regional......:rolleyes:

It should be but its the personalities that hold them.

But most people who know 9th region basketball. Wouldn't argue that any of those 4 would probably be the best player on any team in the 9th outside of 2 or 3 teams. Without a doubt everyone would be atleast the 2nd best on every team in the 9th.

To ten teams in the 13th region..
