What are Dawkins' college opportunities?

 

Dawkins was a heavy UC lean but with Butch Jones moving on to UT its now wide open again. He has also picked up some more opportunies with all the coaching changes.

 

He is now considering Colorado State,Illinios,UC Along with his new opportunies Tennessee & South Florida

Alan and Tom Rittle (LB) got scholarships to Georgia Tech---recruited by Jerry Glanville. A knee knocked Alan out and I think it was the same for Tom, too. It was their senior year (season of 1968) that Trinity won its first state championship.

 

Wasn't trinity's only loss that year to St. X.? I believe that was the game that Ron Steele intercepted a pitchout intended for Hennessey and took it in for the winning score with about 30 seconds left. Final score was St. X 19 - THS 12....if memory serves correctly. A packed and stunned Fairgrounds stadium crowd witnessed one of the first classics in this series.

Absolutely agree. And kudos to the T offensive coaches for finding different ways to get the ball in his hands. He was a weapon whose many talents were fully utilized by the T coaches.

I was also fortunate enough to see some of the best from the past. Hennessey, the Rittle's, Servino, Keith Calvin. Just to name a few. I would rank young Dylan up there with them all. He was a little faster, also very elusive simlar to old #44. Man, those where some great times too.

Awesome player. With his versatility, he would thrive in any offense, but WKU and Georgia Tech are two schools that he could really shine at.

 

Petrino would move him all over the place to get the ball, and Georgia Tech with their Flexbone triple option/Wing T base stuff would be an RB's dream IMO.
