Yes he was there with dantonio. And I think he would be a great hire. I also want them to hire a defensive minded coach

My old boss is a huge UT fan. Neither her or her family is impressed with this hire.

Fans don't need to be upset with Jones, they need to be upset with the administration. For all of the people that were glad to see Fulmer go (one season after they had played in the SEC Championship), one word and one phrase. Karma. And, be careful what you wish for.

 

The Tennessee admin went after the home run (except for Petrino, but people have avoided him like the plague) hires, and couldn't pull it off.

UC will be a stepping stone with their football program from now until forever. They are in a bad conference, old facilities, and a small fan base. We do not have a right to get mad at someone for taking a better job! Who wouldn't want a better job that pays more????

I am guessing the parents of the players he recruited might feel differently. Players committed based in large part upon representations made by Jones.

 

The players are stuck. Bad penalties to transfer, if any landing spot at all might exist. Jones gets a massive raise to bail on his commitment.

 

If Jones were captain of the Titanic, his would have been the first heinie in the first life boat.
