December 6, 201213 yr Author I can understand that but you aren't going to get Ellsbury for spare parts. With Chapman going to the rotation they can deal a starter. Ellsbury would give them the leadoff hitter that they have needed for awhile. It would be costly but I would think it would make the Reds the favorite in the NL this season. Too much uncertainty with Chapman to let Homer go IMO.
December 6, 201213 yr Too much uncertainty with Chapman to let Homer go IMO. Everyone on here has anointed him as an ace. The Reds have the chance to win it all this season...do they go for it or watch their offense come up short again?

Who has anointed Chapman as an ace? Spindoc? No! Crash? No! Clyde? No! UKMF? No! HT? No! Randy Parker? No! CC? No!! And I certainly haven't.

Chapman most certainly has the talent to become a top of the line starter, but it is much more likely that he winds up on the DL this upcoming season.

December 6, 201213 yr ^ Rangers maybe. Seems like they're dead set on Upton or Hamilton though....If the Upton trade occurs, we'd see Upton in Texas, Hamilton in Seattle, and then where for Bourn?
