With the footballers just getting done, I don't expect Cooper to show anything to NCC. Play the guys you have, see what NCC throws at you and keep that knowledge when they could meet later in the year. NCC wins by 9.

My understanding is that all of the football players except for Shelton are going to take a week off before starting basketball.

 

They should. You need a week to get mentally and physically recharged. Better for Coach Sullivan in the long run.

Surprised there isn't more talk about this game. I realize Cooper won't be at full strength, but this will still be a good test to let us know where both teams are at this point in the season.

 

A good showing by the Jags without a couple of their studs could give them a lot of confidence going forward.

From the Cooper side, I'm just getting out of Football mode but will be there tonight. It may take a few days to transition over to Basketball. And, as you said, Cooper won't be at full strength for a bit.

Good question. That's one more reason this game tells us nothing about Cooper.

I don't know for sure as he has been dealing with a sprained ankle. My guess, he plays, but not at 100%. From what I hear, Cooper may be deeper this year than people think.
