Half time Brossart led 33-28. St. Henry came back and tied early in 4th qtr but Brossart got the win. Saunders led with 20 points, Burns had 16 points and Uebel had 12 points.

Do you happen to know who won the Freshman game? Any details?

Brossart took 3 wins tonight. Not sure of the Freshman score. The JV won by one point.

Sounds like it was a good game.

Thanks.

Congrats to Brossart on the win. Exciting game.

Great showing by the Crusader fans. Fun atmosphere.

St.Henry was up 1 with 3 minutes to go. Didn't finish very well (as you can tell by the score). Last 6 possessions were 4 turnovers and 2 missed 3's.

Brossart won most of the 50/50 balls late in the game. Fun game to watch and congrats to Brossart.

I'll try to post some pictures after a bit.

Freshmen won 28 to 16. Mustangs outplayed the Cru throughout BUT only led 10-8 at halftime.

Second half started hitting shots, outscored the Hennies 12-2 in the 3rd period and went on to win 28-16.

Joey Hickman led the Mustangs with 12 points and Jackson Crawford contributed 8. Rolf 2, Schultz 3, Ridder 2, Geiman 1 (but played solid minutes when in there - will become a good one).

Juett led the Cru with 6. Carr 4, Wallenhurst 4, and Hannon 2.

Mustangs play Augusta in the River City on Friday night at 6pm.

Varsity game looked like a Brossart dominated blowout early as the Mustangs pushed out to a 21-7 early game lead. Saunders was unstoppable during that span and had 14 by halftime. Stangs got into serious foul trouble in the second period and St. Henry took advantage cutting the lead to 33-28 at the half.

Second half a war. Ask answer most of the way until Brossart went on a 9-1 run to finish out the game and complete the sweep.

Any time these two teams play, the Cru tends to out-Mustang the Mustangs, and the Mustangs out-Cru the Cru. We are mirror images of each other.

Great game that will benefit both sides as they move on down the road.
