The only thing not scary about BG is their size, but don't let that fool you. Their OL/DL can move. Their skill positions are just frightening.

If Cooper has the skill positions and OL/DL like JH then they should be considered the favorite. BG has run a gauntlet of teams starting with Christian, then Warren Central, then the best of the bunch in JH. All were physical dogfights and the Purples may not have much left in the tank. That is what concerns this BG fan about this game.

No worries. JH can't match skill pos with BG. Nobody in 5A can. Haven't seen cooper in person, but hear they have a good defense. No mention offensively. I still think BG cruises.

I've learned especially this year that size at this level can be very overrated. Cooper this year has faced many teams that were much bigger than Cooper and Cooper did just fine. I will take speed and athleticism over size every time.

 

With that said, I'm sure glad Joe Manley graduated last year :isurrender:

I will disagree with easypro, other than Fant our skill positions where just as good or better than BG.

Bowling Green throws right a ton mostly slants with Fant going deep here and there. Their QB isn't very mobile and doesn't run a lot. The Pillow kid is extremely fast and can break for a TD at any time. Tisdale runs hard but isn't super fast. If you can stop Fant you will have a great chance to win. He is their Mr. Everything and rightfully so. He single handily beat us and Warren Central. I would put my best athlete on Fant all night and hope for the best. If the game is on the line they will go to him for sure. I also forgot to mention they have a great coach and staff who really prep their guys to play. They expect to win every game and you can tell it in their swagger.

Oh by the way. Also look out for a trick play if their down with under 2:00 minutes to go on their own 25 yard line. That really hurt to type :puke:
