UKMustangFan
He broke his scaphoid, which is a bad one to break. He's having surgery to place a pin, and they're saying 4-6 weeks (which is optimistic for this injury. ) So if he's out for 4 weeks, he plays against Kentucky. If it's 6 weeks, he's out for the Kentucky game.

02Ram54
The recovery time is highly dependent on the location of the fracture, because the difference in blood flow is so variable. It can take up to 3 months.

Clyde
Not Jerry Tipton @NotJerryTipton Rick Pitino: "With a little luck, Gorgui will be back by January." Translation: "Gorgui is definitely playing against Kentucky in December."
tcjkbt
This injury is double tough because of his limited background in basketball. He is still learning the game and every day missed probably affects him more than it would a kid who's been playing basketbll since an early age. SLINK
Tough blow, but, they have bodies for the position.
bugatti
Pitino all over the map says he believes Dieng could be back in 3 weeks. Who knows, but I would say by the UK game. Morning tipoff: Dr. Pitino | C. L. Brown – U of L Beat
