Judging by recent history, those top three teams of Perry, Hazard & Knott Central seem pretty accurate, so it's hard to argue against that. On paper it would seem to me that PCC is probably the favorite.

 

I'd really like to see the Beverly kid play. I have heard & read a lot about him; just have yet to see him in action.

Region is at Letcher County Central so I wouldn't count out the Cougars but I still believe it will go to one of the top three teams I listed.

The top 3 are solid choices. Breathitt Co is going to be a dangerous team this year, one that I expected to make some noise come tourney time.

Are all of these transfers eligible? What's the word on their status? Tons of transfers inside the region it seems.

Last I heard on Johnson was that he wasn't eligible yet but he should be before the season starts or not too long after it starts.

Estill has lost yet another player to injury, this time it is a senior that went down with a torn ACL and will miss the entire season.

No disrespect intended to Letcher, but I saw them this summer and they are not in the same league as the other four contenders in the 14th.

Letcher is in a rebuilding year. A SO will probably be taking over the PG role at Estill County since the two other guards are injured and both were PG (Jones and Muncie).

 

I'm also hearing that Bobby Fraley isn't playing for Breathitt County and that Richard Trent isn't playing if those happen to be true then that's gonna hurt Breathitt
