All i know is Scott has a lot of re evaluating to do. The guards look to shoot off the dribble to much and they don't look for Howard has much as they should. In the 1st and 2nd quarter i don't know how many times Howard was one on one down low and didn't see the ball. Howard will win those match-ups. I'm guessin right now Scott is no were near as good as we thought, well at least as good as i thought.

Its one game. You sure jump off the bandwagon quick don't you? Brossart totally outplayed and outhustled Scott in the 3rd quarter last night. Once Scott was forced to press the game was over. Scott had quite a few players not show up to play last night. I agree with Tiger 1 that only Sharp and Howard come to play every night and give it their all.

Brossart looks to be the real deal in my eyes. I agree with Tiger in that Brossart will be the favorite next year, and has a legit chance to take the 10th this year.

They have a great chance to win the All "A" state. They will win the 10th A very easily. Don't count them out in March. They have to feel good getting the #1 seed, that just about assures them of getting to the fieldhouse. Once you're there anything is possible.

Thats an accomplishment they haven't done in a few years,their last game in the fieldhouse was a disaster.

Aint off the wagon. Your wrong about wat tiger1 said, he said they are consitent, I'm sure Carr wouldn't be playing them if they weren't giving it there all. This game just shows there is still work to be done if they want to compete in march which they are more than capable of.

They do have some other people who are shooting the outside shot and shouldn't be. Howard should not get the ball every time down the floor as you suggest, he is good but not great and cannot carry this team by himself.

 

Howard was one on one a lot last night and Brossart's big guys were blocking him quite a bit. He needs to do some other low posts moves because he can't overpower everyone he plays.

Scott does run their offense through Howard not around him. The problem is that Scott needs to open up their offense a lot more without having to run a play everytime down the floor.

Let me clear up what Scott's guards Whitehead and Sharp are supposed to do in a game. Whitehead's job as a PG is to distribute the ball to other players and not be a scorer because honestly that is not his strength. Sharp's job as the 2 guard is to create off the dribble and be a scorer.

Sharp kept them in the game in the first half.

The majority of Scott's problems last night were on the defensive end. Can't let Brossart drop close to 80 on you and expect to win.

Howard needs to learn to drop step and finish with a baby hook he is long..if he can sheild with his left and hook with his right consistantly he would be tough. The drop step dump in isnt going to work all the time. Kyle has to touch the ball down the floor every time must, he is a proven senior, you take him out of the line up they lock down on sharp and the Offense might hit 40 points that is it.
