I am totally against that. Why would you pay tuition to a school that you already pay taxes to provide funding?

Public schools are another entitlement program that a certain political party keeps railing about . If you are a member of that party you should be consistant and understand this . The people that use these schools should pay for them not the general populace

Very true. The uneducated and unemployed typically do not generate tax revenue, they typically consume it. Conservative ideology seems content to invest in incarceration facilities while denying public education. Seems irrational to me.

Some do. As someone with no children of my own, I realize that I will benefit from educated adults in my community, as there will be less crime, more tax revenue and better opportunities. So, I pay my taxes and am glad that I am able to pay for a student who perhaps, through no fault of their own, was born to a bum parent.

I'm pretty darn conservative but I don't mind paying for the county library, schools, police protection and fire protection. I consider those civic obligation not entitlement programs. Now medicaid abuse and disability abuse……………...
