I agree. PT doesn't always play. Bizarre but true. When they do they are a load.

There's that built-in excuse again... I can understand though, with that much "talent" there's sometimes not enough atmosphere to contain their swagger...

I'm curious to see how Monroe adjusts to Tilghman's newfound ability to pass. From what I've read on here, the secondary for Monroe has been suspect down the stretch and Tighman's ability to stretch the field is much better now than when they played Fort Campbell. Tilghman also came off a final week bye in impressive fashion last week, which means two weeks to get people healthy for Monroe.

 

However, Monroe is not only a tough place to find but a tough place to play and Fort Campbell has been known to pack their tents when they fall behind on the road.

I'm apparently less interested in 2011 than you are, because I could care less about lineup changes, schedule's, 37-0 or anything else concerning 2011... it's 2012, and the only thing I'm concerned with is our next match-up with the super "talented" PT Blue Tornado's... I think it'll be a competitive game and I think one team and one fan base will leave with a new found respect for the other...

I ate Backyard BBQ four years ago and Frances last year. Can't go wrong with either. Frances' fried pies were the second best I've ever had

On occasion they BBQ at the game, doubt they will Friday night though. BackYard is probably the best IMO, but Frances is good as well, just a different style. Red Barn has good shredded nacho's and tater skins but the BBQ is a notch below BackYard... Anita's ribs are great (Memphis style) but they'll be gone shortly after 11:30 on Friday...

All kidding aside it (Dovies) is our most famous eating establishment and has been featured on/in several food reviews and books...

Man it looks like I missed all the fun on here last night!!! I am already getting that Friday night vibe and I am already pacing the floor...this should be the turn out for the game of the week against two very talented programs. Come early if you are from out of town, many historic things to see and some really good eats here if you love things out of the ordinary. Dovies on main closes at 2... all the BBQ's will be open though!!!

Adair actually has some good athletes and size but seem to lose their momentum when the other teams score first. If the other team was up by 14 the Adair Kids seem to lose their mental toughness and give in some. The community support for Adair football is just not there either. IMO They have the kids and talent ...I just don't know what they are missing.

 

 

Looking forward to the game between Monroe and PT. If Monroe can defend against the pass this game will go back and forth till the end.
