Mason County's Tee King intercepts the Powell pass at the end of the game and runs it back for a 105 yard INT TD to end the game at 48-21 Mason County.

Interesting game. Powell was effective running the ball and the halftime score was 14-7 Royals. Powell was driving early in the 3rd quarter; Royals' Jaylen Jones with a 98-yard pick-6 to make it 21-7. Powell hung aroud; made it 35-21 on a long fumble return for a TD then had a chance to recover the onsides kick on a 50-50 ball but Mason County came up with the ball and cruised from there. Powell got deep inside Royals territory with 2 seconds remaining, but Tee King on the long INT return to end the game.

 

Next up - Bath or Fleming (they were tied at 29 with about 6 minutes to play last I heard). Royals MUST defend the run better next week to continue advancing.
