Now that I ride the bus home or to practice daily, I have some extra time and while I don't read the books, I do listen to Audiobooks using my very small SanDisk Clip Zip MP3 player and with my earplugs in my ears, the noise of the bus ride stays out.

 

Surprising how many titles of Audiobooks are in the Boone/Kenton Counties libraries and how easy it is to download them into my player!

Are Penthouse Forums considered fiction or non-fiction? :lol:

 

I've read a lot of fiction (by my standards) this year & the choice is easy: The Prophet ​by Michael Koryta.

This will likely be my favorite fiction for 2012. About halfway through, cannot put it down. I will definitely be reading more Koryta. In fact, I might go visit him in Bloomington, IN.

I read it in about three days. I never read a book in three days.

Non-Fiction would be either the Chris Herren book Basketball Junkie or Play Their Hearts out by Geoge Dohrman. The Herren book is extremely powerful and if you have seen the ESPN 30-30 piece Unguarded based on the book you still have to read the book.

 

The Dohrman book is a great insight into the underbelly of AAU basketball starting at a very early age.

 

Fiction would have to be the first two installments of the Hunger Games.
