There are only three line items in the federal budget that can significantly impact deficit reductions. They are : 1) Medicaid; 2) Medicare; 3) Military. No one can advocate cuts to the first two and get elected. No Republican can advocate cuts to the third and get nominated. Romney is going to reward the wealthy for their wealth by reducing their taxes which puts nearly the entire burden on the middle class. Many of the jobs that could be available due to reduced regulatory burdens will go to guest workers, because the US citizen is simply too expensive to employ. The culture of learning on the job is extinct.

W also committed the country to incredible spending in Iraq and Afghanistan which is why I do not want another foreign policy neophyte in the White House. Especially one from a party proven to sacrifice American blood and treasure for political gain. Amazing how news or war always displaces news of domestic woe!

The mess was and is a mess. Would have been regardless of who won. One group of people would be mad and suffering more than the other and we'd be exactly where we are right now. Obama haters should probably be glad he won in 2008 because he probably would have won this year anyways. At least if he wins this year you'll only have 4 more years instead of 8. I am not saying there are not President Obama "haters". But there are people that just disagree with his policies. I don't hate him or anyone else, I just feel his policies are not taking the country in the right directiion. That is because he is liberal and I am conservative. Simple as that. I truly think he feels he is doing what is right for this country. And I feel what I believe is what is right for this country. There is only one person in this world I agree 100% with, and he isn't running. And that is me. If President Obama is re-elected, I will surely survive. November 1, 201213 yr Bush's lack of campaigning for Romney reminds me of 12 years ago when so many were wondering why Gore was using Clinton so little for his campaign. My guess is the Gore group was worried the Monica Lewinsky/perjury/obstruction of justice/impeachment ordeal was still too fresh in voters minds and wanted to seperate Gore from that. In reality, those issues had already faded from Americans' memory and not using Clinton more may have cost Gore the election. If I were Romney, I would use Bush in private settings of groups known to be conservative and Pro Bush such as Evangelical Church Conventions to build up support from the conservative base for a moderate candidate. Though maybe Mitt and W. never got along well and neither wanted to be associated with the other, who knows.

The problem with Republican Presidential candidates is they cannot get elected with a conservative base, so they have to appeal to more liberal segments of society. Ever wonder why Medicaid and Medicare never get addressed?

The Senate is not going to convene their hearings until 11/13/12. Gee, could it be that when the info that has been leaked is confirmed, it is not going to look good for Obama. If these things were done prior to the election, it may have an affect. Can't have a black mark like that on your record with no response to what happened 8 weeks later, now can he?

But here's the real black eye....say on Nov. 13 the administration trots out the rebuttal emails and documents that support every decision they made regarding the video tape, the videographer(in jail for parole violation) and the truth behind the stand down order. It still will not be enough or even the 'truth' for those(Obama haters) who wanted answers in a 8-9 week timeframe. It doesn't matter what he tells you about that incident. Your mind is made up and truthfully your mind was made up before that in incident ever happened. Just gives you what you feel is more ammo. That event has been politicized so much that the lives of those four innocent Americans will never be seen as important as to what really happened because of people's hate and absolute desire to see Obama fail. Obama could be 100% guilty of murder of those four people but the vitriol and hatred of every little thing that man does will not allow me to believe he is 1% guilty of murder. And that's just the way it is. And that's why I hope Obama loses so we can watch and see just how much better a businessman does. A businessman will try to destroy everyone who stands in his way of making money.
