I do not know anything about Anderson Co. so if anyone is familiar with them give us some insight on this game.

Cooper ended up 9-1 this year. I would not want to play this "#3 seed". The Jags will be ready. Coach Borchers is on a mission and one and done will not happen this year! Good luck to Cooper!

Anderson Co. will be a very tough game for Cooper. I think this will be one of the best first round games in the 5A playoffs. I say it will be a 1-2 point game either way. Team who is negative in the TO category loses. Good luck to the Jags. Take care of the rock.

I'll take Cooper. Cooper's D will be the difference.

I know very little about Cooper. However, Anderson is well coached and does not tend to beat themselves. They do however get out-athleted from time to time. Five losses in 2 seasons - (2) Bryan Station, (2) Franklin Co., (1) Bowling Green. Common denominator = SPEED! Peach will have them prepped and ready.

I think these two teams are very similar. These are the two best coached and disciplined teams in this region bar none. I'll take Cooper 21-14. But I wouldn't be surprised if it goes the other way. A little better athletes on the Cooper side. I expect Collins to carry this team to round #2. He'll get 30+ carries. I think both the #2/#3 matchups will be good in this region.

I hope you are right, but the more I learn about Anderson County the more I worry about the game.

 

They are a very balanced team, they have big db's and play a balanced offense. The more I learn about them the more I think they are two pretty even teams. This could be a tough one for Cooper, but I hope I'm wrong.
