This is literally THE most ridiculous question I've seen posed on here. To date, there is only one US President who has achieved all of their major campaign promises while in office, and that would be our 11th President, James K. Polk. In fact, he didn't even seek a second term, as he had achieved them all in his first term in office. That, coupled with his health convinced him to quit while he was ahead.

 

That being said, if failed campaign promises are cause for impeachment in a President's second term, then every single president that has had a second term should have been impeached "for being a liar"

 

No problem with a failed promise, but to bold face lie and expect to get away with it is another story.

While I know people like to rag on mountain ref, I think he does bring up a good point about holding our elected officials accountable for their actions or lack-there-of.

You make zero sense. If I promise something...I give my word to do that thing. If I fail to follow through on a promise, I fail to follow through on something I've given my word to do. Isn't lying just saying you're going to do something and then not doing it? Your logic is pretty drastically skewed.

But you didn't vote for him so obviously you didn't believe in him that much. If Romney wins and nothing changes I won't be mad and talk crazy on Romney. If I expected him to do that good I'd vote for him. You seem mad like you voted for Obama and he let you down but you didn't trust him enough to vote for him. Why not just sit back and say, "I was right about him"?

 

And what happens if Obama wins and manages to keep things going forward and the US is in a better place in 2016?

If Obama gets re elected should he be recalled or impeached if what he promises doesn't happen.

 

If they are lies to only get elected should he be held accountable.

 

If that's the case, Romney should have to drop out the the race now..
