Ludlow cant get to Hoops season quick enough.

Looks like Beechwood did an excellent job holding the score down.

Ouch!:isurrender:

8 minute quarters? I assume the coaches had to agree to that.

Yes, Beechwood did all they could to keep the score down. I have never seen a team put its starters on the sideline with more than 10 minutes to go in the second quarter. Beechwood's starters played just a couple of plays beyond one quarter in this game. While in possession of the ball at the end of each half, Beechwood ran as much clock between plays as they could. Inside the 10 yard line at the end of the first half and having to run another play, they ran a QB sneak to run out the rest of the half. There were a couple other things Beechwood did as well. The 8 minute quarters with a running clock made for a very fast second half.

Ludlow has a nice looking QB in Mitchell Cody. If he had a receiver or two, he could do some damage.

Beechwood doing what they are supposed to do. Ludlow is just a horrible team right now. Another school that can use a coaching change. They at least need to compete with the Bellvues and Daytons.

I don't think you can blame the coach for the situation in Ludlow. Coach Hornsby is a solid individual that the youngmen respect and listen to. Ludlow is just going thru a tough cycle right now as far as numbers and talent. Hopefully they can turn this around in the next few years and begin to compete with schools like Dayton and Bellevue. If I'm not mistaken several years back Dayton went thru some similar type years and they have gradually rebounded and became more competitive. I have confidence that the right people are in place to turn things around at Ludlow. Go Panthers!
