Bluto Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 Pollster: Romney Will Win FL, NC, VA According to Suffolk University pollster David Paleologos, Mitt Romney is a lock to win Florida, Virginia, and North Carolina. In fact, Paleologos is so certain of that eventuality that he’s stopped polling in those states. “In places like North Carolina, Virginia and Florida, we’ve already painted those red. We’re not polling any of those states again. We’re focusing on the remaining states,” “Before the debate the Suffolk poll had Obama winning 46 to 43 in the head-to-head number"
Clyde Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 I follow fivethirtyeight.com . They have Romney gaining in electoral votes and chances of winning. Currently has the President with 294 electoral votes and a 68% chance of winning. The first debate had an impact. He doesn't agree with this guy. PurplePride92 Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 It's too bad that if Obama loses it will be because his campaign collapsed in October. Tragic.
Lucky Charms Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 It's too bad that if Obama loses it will be because his campaign collapsed in October. Tragic. I think (IMO) that it will be because no one knew about Romney and where he stands on issues. And now that he got his message out over the debates people are siding with him. But again, its just my opinion.
Clyde Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 And now that he got his message out over the debates people are siding with him. . What message do you think people heard?

Even though it's been proven and discussed that he was talking a lot of junk at the debate? I guess if being general and vague got Obama elected in 2008 it can get Romney elected in 2012.

Clyde Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 And this is where we stand with our politics these days. Agreed.

Lucky Charms Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 What message do you think people heard? That he can connect with common middle class America. Doesn't matter if he told lies. The debates are about perception and his message throughout the debate was all about connecting with the middle class.
Bluto Posted October 11, 2012 Author Posted October 11, 2012 It's too bad that if Obama loses it will be because his campaign collapsed in October. Tragic. No. It will be because the economy stinks under this president, with no hope of changing course under his leadership. What happened in the debate is that people finally were able to see that Romney is presidential material, and is therefore an acceptible choice.

2 Humped Camel Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 Wait, we are counting polling numbers now?
Clyde Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 What happened in the debate is that people finally were able to see that Romney is presidential material, and is therefore an acceptible choice. No games being played here. "see that Romney is presidential material." Can I ask how?

Nothing makes me feel like he connect with the middle class and that is my fear of Romney. That and he's believed to be anti-union.
