Bellevue lost BAD to Gallatin TRUE but 70% of their team was on the sideline with injuries or some type of stomach bug. So I would not put alot of stock in that game. But it was a lose and they all count. Bellevue did beat a previously unbeaten 2A Carroll county team pretty good and i think Carroll county could beat Eminence and did beat KCD pretty good.

Beechwood is where they should be in the rankings at #4. Frankfort should be #2. They have played a decent schedule and have an impressive win over Lexington Christian. Hazard has played a tough schedule and they are the defending champs so I have no problem with them at #3. That puts Beechwood at #4. I don't see any of those losing in their district games. Mayfield has a bit of a district challenge in Russellville and a solid Caldwell County in their last game but I don't see Mayfield losing either of those. Frankfort finishes with Danville, which will be a challenge. But even if Frankfort loses that one, that doesn't drop them from the top 4 IMO. Hazard should have lopsided wins the rest of the way. Beechwood finishes with Newport Catholic who seemed to re-establish their dominance last week in crushing a 6-1 district opponent Lloyd by a score of 63-22. If NCC beats Beechwood, that could cause some doubt in the poll but I stil see Beechwodd at #4 even if they lose that one. It is hard to penalize teams for losing to really good teams like Danville and NCC. A couple obstacles in there but the top 4 all should win out. I don't see anything the teams below the top 4 can do that would move them above the top 4 if the top 4 win out. What we see now is where it will likely be until these teams settle it on the field.

I dont think you can take Nicholas out of the top 10 (PR #9), after losing to the #5 team in the state. They were, by rankings, SUPPOSED to lose.

Yes, they were expected to lose, but, they should have been more competitive than what they were, too. I think if they lost by 2-3 scores, they'd probably still be in there..

I doubt they were supposed to lose 60-12 ...
