Last time I checked Raceland was in Greenup Co, as is Russell. Perhaps if the parents from Greenup County high school would work together to build a program down in Lloyd, instead of worrying what part of the county they come from, and quit being jealous of the great program down the road at Raceland, some of the kids would want to play at Greenup County instead of Raceland.

I coached there 3 years ago no no longer do. Have no affiliation with Greenup co. That just happens to be my screen name now cause I can't change it.

Guys, this thread is about NC and Raceland. GC Coach, you can change your user name by contacting the site. They can either change it or transfer your payment to another account. I'm not 100% sure but I have heard of it being done.

Do they? KHSAA did an investigation of Fairview and found players ineligible due to violation of the bylaws. If you know of wrong doing on the part of Raceland, report it to the KHSAA. Report it, or it's just a false accusation. Anyone can throw out accusations, but it take quite a bit more to report a violation and prove it. The proof was gathered by the KHSAA against Fairview. There has been no such report or gathering of proof against Raceland. Just saying it, doesn't make it so, you have to prove it.

 

If you are tired of the way Fairview is seen by other programs, then maybe a look in the mirror is needed. Do you wonder why, every time Raceland plays a team, they wish us luck in beating Fairview? It has to do with the way Fairview behaves, not the fact that they are winning games. Exhibiting graciousness and humility will garner more respect then winning games.

 

If the reputation of Fairview is really that important to you, heed the above advise. If it is not, carry on with your distain.

Well once before local teams reported Fairview for recruiting, there was investigation and the ruling was no wrong doing by Fairview. People still accuse Fairview of recruiting where's your proof? With mason and Elijah I'm not going to discuss the situation but there's a reason why a court injunction is available. It's up to the court now.

Exactly. You have to prepare yourself though the non-district part of the season. Beechwood and Mayfield have done a good job of accomplishing just that over the years. You may take some loses, but you are better prepared in the long run.

I'll will be glad when next Friday gets here to see the results, will be keeping an eye on this one someone please keep the updates posted. Ram has a point about winning with some humility and character it earns a lot more respect. I have seen this first hand with a guy who left N.C. and needed a job at Fairview and was given help from the coaching staff and school personnel to get the job, and know he is disrespectful to our fans and players just like the rest of them. Good fit I guess.
