jericho Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Talk about trying to push accepting it on you. "It is vital for networks to weave complex and diverse story lines of LGBT people in the different programs they air," said GLAAD President Herndon Graddick. "More and more Americans have come to accept their LGBT family members, friends, co-workers and peers, and as audiences tune into their favorite programs, they expect to see the same diversity of people they encounter in their daily lives." My hope is that before this decade ends threads like this one, on this topic will be thought of as similarly ridiculous as the aforementioned would be today.
Getslow Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Interesting... the only thing I feel like TV networks have been trying to force on me the past few years is Bud Light.
jericho Posted October 5, 2012 Author Posted October 5, 2012 IMO it the group LGLB, are trying to make it more cool to be this way, in turn our kids see it and think it is cool to be this way. I dont see it that way and dont think it shouldbe pushed or encouraged to show thsi and bring attention to it. Why not have a tv show for the KKK and show them killing blacks and burning crosses. Why not a TV show for Black Panther Party killing white babies at a party. This is all around us too. Show them as being cool.

Do you think corporations that own networks goal is to make as much money as possible?
spindoc Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 You can't turn someone gay. It's as simple as that. So the many who were homo that are now hetero and then hetero now homo, what do you call it? Turning? Backpedalling? Flip-flopping?
2 Humped Camel Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 So the many who were homo that are now hetero and then hetero now homo, what do you call it? Turning? Backpedalling? Flip-flopping? Bisexual, to buy the argument that it is conditioned you would have to belief that you could be exposed to enough gayness to "turn you". Do you think you could ever be turned? There really isn't any better or positive treatment given for being gay only negative stuff wo why anyone would chose that is illogical.
Clyde Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 So the many who were homo that are now hetero and then hetero now homo, what do you call it? Turning? Backpedalling? Flip-flopping? Those sound sexual acts in some communities.
formerkywrestler Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 You can't turn someone gay. It's as simple as that....but you can pray away the gay!
Lawnboy13 Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Those sound sexual acts in some communities. ....and you would know this how?????? :eyeonyou:

So I'm not buying that argument anymore. Why would someone choose to be? Not buying.
spindoc Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 ...but you can pray away the gay! That's a tired refrain. You got anything new?
formerkywrestler Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 That's a tired refrain. You got anything new? It's still true. Until that stops being the case, why find anything new? What new stance did you take in this arena? Last I saw you're keeping the same tired refrain...
