October 2, 201214 yr There are. Name them and watch them get attacked. What I think is hilarious is how conservatives kill liberal actors when they come out in support of Obama and scream "WHY THE HELL SHOULD WE CARE ABOUT SOME GOSH DARN LIBERAL ACTORS!?!" But Clint Eastwood and Gary Sinise and John Elway are fair to pat on the back because they're rooting for the same guy. And the left kills rich Republicans and completely overlooks the millions of dollars they pull from Hollywood folks. No consistency.
October 2, 201214 yr I agree which was my point, Hugo Chavez's endorsement or lack thereof has no bearing on the President or this election. I guess my point is why would Chavez endorse President Obama. And I don't think it is because he thinks President Obama would be the best choice for the future of the United States. Obviously I don't know the reason, but logic would tell me there are two possible reasons. Either he thinks that President Obama would be the easiest to influence or President Obama's philosophies most coincide with his (Chavez).

Or maybe it's something simple and petty like Obama being a minority. Edited October 2, 201214 yr by PurplePride92
October 2, 201214 yr Of maybe it's something simple and petty like Obama being a minority. That's the only reason anyone votes for Obama though, right?

October 2, 201214 yr \ Of maybe it's something simple and petty like Obama being a minority. I honestly don't think Chavez cares about the race issue. I think he is only interested in what is best for himself. Not himself and his country, just himself.
October 2, 201214 yr I think he thinks that Obama's going to win, and he's trying to schmooze him. Chavez has been pretty anti-Obama since his election. Chavez is a bizarre dude. That is a possibility, but I think he only wants someone who will further, or at least not, interfere with his agenda. And I don't think he would get quite the warm, fuzzy feeling from Governor Romney, that he would get from President Obama.
October 2, 201214 yr That's the only reason anyone votes for Obama though, right? Absolutely. His skin color is the only reason.

I don't know why any celebrity endorsement matters, no matter which political party it favors. I only care about one endorsement, mine, and I am certainly no celebrity. You never hear about that when the liberals start complaining how unfair it is to be born into money. Kennedy's are exempt also.

Politics is full of deception.

There will always be those too blind to see it or even acknowledge it
