October 2, 201213 yr I'm kind of thinking that way; if they do it will be a nice confidence booster for the rest of the season. They have been finding ways to win.
October 5, 201213 yr Huge ND fan here. Can't help but think that ND is going into this game having left the "Luck and the Echo's of the Irish" behind..... WHY? Shamrock series helmet. Blasphamy !!!!!! Unless they have painted the golden dome of the Administration Building to match those helmets, they no longer represent the dome. FYI....the dome is on the Admin building and not the Basilica. tidbit......In Lou Holtz's first year, he went to the AD and asked if they could put a stripe on the helmets. He said he was "counseled" about what the helmets represented and the issue was never brought up again. Holding my breath on this one.....Go Irish.
October 5, 201213 yr Not sure a week off will help or hurt the Irish! They were playing pretty well and finding ways to win. Maybe their offense will improve and their defense will continue to dominate!! GO IRISH!!
October 6, 201213 yr I thought the kids ate this stuff up. Goofy. But hey, it's not about football any more. It's the shock value so people will talk about your product/program.
October 7, 201213 yr 34-3 Notre Dame over Miami with 3 minutes left in the game. Not quite the impressive performance many were predicting for Miami.
