Not a bash against Davis, but if he is out then ryle may actually benefit from this. I remember last year when he went out and Ryan Hill had to take over for a game, he had the game of his life and won player of the week that week. That was after Travis Elliot was already out for the season.

He threw a lot of passes last week. I know he took some big hits also. He didn't look hurt though.

I do not believe he is hurt.

What's the update? playing? not playing? moving positions- tailback?

I don't understand why they would bench him. If they was going to bench somebody it should be their O-line. Davis scored a touchdown but it was called back for holding. Plus Davis got sacked a bunch of times. If anybody played good for Ryle against SK it was Davis. Maybe they don't like how he hands the ball off? I am clueless on this one.

The few times I have seen Davis play he looks like a much better runner than passer. He has not been very accurate when I did see him throw. It seems to me he would be more effective at a running back position..:idunno: Does Ryle have a backup that can sling the rock?

I had heard that schools were looking at Nate as a WR/CB. Maybe showcasing that skill for the next level?

The thread is that the kid is not playing; not that he's changing positions. Later the comment is added that he is not hurt. So is he suspended? Did he leave the team?
