Big bird, you may want to be careful when you do the superman crime and round up those numbers. (great movie by the way).

I stopped by the game and the numbers seemed to be about the same for both teams. So After reading your post I checked out the KHSAA on line rosters. Pcounty does have 21 kids on the team, NOT including the 8 frosh. Brossart numbers are 22 not including their 10 frosh. Not knowing if the Wildcats had any injuries it would make these 2 teams fairly equal in numbers.

To think Brossart looked past the school from their south is a rediculous statement. I know a lot of parents that have kids on the team and they wanted that game. They know they are not ready for primetime and cherish every victory they can muster up. Those kids from Brossart also had hearts of lions. Both teams played hard and don't have the luxury of 100 kids on the sidelines. As Mustang mentioned at small schools, it makes a difference when kids miss but it happens frequently and you go about your business with who you have. I'm sure they will play as hard as they can next week too. They are a fun bunch of kids to watch. Good luck the rest of the season to both teams.

Thanks so much for input from the uninformed! Not a soul from our camp used having two players out as an excuse for losing the ballgame and LET ME ASSURE YOU, we didn't look past anyone. NOT AT DAYTON nor at PENDLETON COUNTY. We know perfectly well who we are, what we have and what we are up against.

We are not proud of the fact that we gift-wrapped three touchdowns to the Cats and sealed our own fate, but what is - is. As TAC pointed out, we have the same number schematics as Pendlton County.

I hardly think anticipating a match with our "parochial nemisis" is cause for great anticipation from our Mustangs.

 

With that being said, we did the best we could do with who we had to do it with. Do you realize that our quarterback was a 5-4 120 pound freshman??? I'm sure he was guilty of looking past the Wildcats.
