Nice win for JBS, but don't get too excited. This is the worst team that Perry Co. has had in years and the best team that JBS has had in years, and JBS wins by four... Just a little perspective.

Ah, come on. PCC had a big win in Franklin Co everyone was talking about. PCC is #1 in the region. Like someone stated JBS is even young. Give a little credit partner. Also this game was at PCC. Duke would even have trouble there. Work with me here!

You must remember JBS starters are an 8th grader, a 6'8" freshman[and growing] 3 sophmores and one senior. The 8th grader,freshman and sophmore combined for 50 of the 58 points JBS had. We played on Perry Centrals floor which some one in another thread said 'it's almost impossibe to win there. " Perry Co. is #1 in the region, so how can you knock a 4 point win over PCC. I think JBS can get just a little excited.

Somebody ask if we had any seniors who contributed anything to the team, we have one, sometimes he starts, sometimes he don't. Sometimes a sophmore starts. Sorry you can't keep up.

I've moved JBS from 'average' to 'very good'. I'd like to see the JBS vs LCC game, and if they win that one then I think that they have a lock on #1 in the 14th. (providing that they don't implode otherwise)

 

It is very hard to win a game at PCC and most teams have never done it. Way to go JBS!!

 

How is their interior defense? Are they getting much offensively from inside with the 6'8" freshmen? (anyone know his ppg/rpg averages?)

I agree ARC, I had questions about June Buchanan's schedule. After Tuesday's win against PCC at PCC, it elevates them in my eyes as well.

Good record + beat a good team = for real!!

 

I would like to see June Buchanan play Lee and Leslie?? I think I remember them playing Lee last year so what happened with that pairing this year??

The 6'8" freshman that JBS has is very impressive. He is the best big man that I have seen in the 14th this year especially on defense. I think JBS needs to get him a few more offensive looks and he will be something special.

I think the bad blood between JBS and Lee needed a year to settle.
