Seems like I always have a dilemma with starting a QB. This year it's Romo or RGIII. Romo faces a tough Giants D right out of the gate. RGIII debuts in New Orleans. Who ya got?

 

I'd take RG3 only because he is going up against the Saints D. If they fall behind early, which there is a good chance of, he will be throwing the ball alot and often.

 

Not only is Romo going against the Giants but he could be without Jason Witten and Miles Austin is still trying to get over some hamstring injuries.

 

I think your best option is RG3 at the moment...

I agree, RG3 and don't look back this week. Romo's line is a serious problem on top of the other reasons Show Stopper gave.

I'd go with RG3 in week one. Griffin was 20 for 31 for 193 yards with two touchdowns, no interceptions and a 103.2 rating in the preseason. He will have a pretty strong debut, adding a rushing TD this week I bet.

 

You should get bonus points for how many times he's in commercials on Sunday.

I will go ahead and post a question to keep this thread rolling. Any way a Mod could maybe change the thread title to Week 1: Fantasy Advice so everyone questions can go here instead of having like six different ones? Worked great last year, but to keep it rolling:

 

In my number 2 spot, would you start WR Maclin @ Cleveland or WR Wayne @ Chicago?

RB Evan Royster is available in my league. Should I drop RB Felix Jones for him? Felix was aquired in a trade and will probably never sniff my lineup, but Royster could pan out. He would be my 5th back in a flex league.

The Giants defense was one of the worst in the league last year until two weeks before the playoffs. They're healthier this year but they did lose CB Terrell Thomas and DT Shaun Rogers. Also without Prince Amukamara for week 1.

 

I think they will be better than they were for the majority of last season though because of JPP, Tuck and Umenyiora. Plus they added Keith Rivers.

That's the one reason I was weary about it. My current RB's are Matt Forte, Ahmad Bradshaw, Doug Martin, Michael Bush, Felix Jones, and Robert Turbin. I don't expect to get much out of Jones, so I thought it might be worth it and wanted to ask what some of the others though.

Just read all of the advice in this thread. There wasn't one post suggesting I start Romo. I was on the fence and was close to changing back yesterday. Hind sight is 20/20. Your advice would have been much more credible had it not been after the fact...
