The young talent at BW will be fun to watch, if they jell they could make things interesting, but of course that is a big if.

I think we should start an over/under thread for how many times Cov Cath will bunt each game. We will start at 6 :popcorn:

Don't know if he's a senior or junior though. I have heard he's related to Huff, the head coach.

Conner-Strong hitting with Fogel,Maines solid pitchng

Cooper-Solid pitching

Dixie-well its a weak district lol

Lloyd-same weak district pretty good pitching with Brown solid hitting seniors Stevens- Brown will both have solid years

Holy Cross-Tiberi will take them a long way.

Cov Cath-Good pitching solid bats

New Cath-Cain will lead the team in hitting and will be the best pitcher in the region this year.

HHS-Nice group coming back Murray and Heck will both have solid years

 

Not sure about that, there are some pretty good pitchers in the region this year.

Perhaps TOG can answer that question. I'm not sure that CCH bunts nearly as much as their reputation suggest. I think it's based on their competition and those that aren't successful see many more attempts than those that defend it well. I don't see many games, but I suspect that their reputation for bunting often times plays into their favor with the positioning and anticipation of the opponent's defense.

As we have all learned by watching Krumps, bunting can win some games, but it simply will not win championships. Ie. 2009 :ohbrother:

As we all know, there hasn't been a Coach to win a State Baseball Championship since 1963 from NKy except for one and that some one, has won over 800 games! Wanna bet that man has won more games than you RedlegJ?

 

Tell you what, when you win your first State Baseball Championship, then you can complain about how Krumps coaches, until then, just sit on the sidelines and pretend you know more about High School Baseball than Coach Krumps!

No not his agent at all but I consider Krumps a good friend and he has done more for young men who love Baseball than anyone currently coaching in the Ninth Region except for his friend and mine Coach Maxwell at Dixie.

 

You don't do something for over 35 years if you haven't been successful in your job, no matter what your job is and if you doubt his success, then just look at Ryle, Cooper and Conner and ask those baseball coaches about Krumps!

I totally agree that this will be done and should jpa. The only problem is, is that this works great on natural grass fields but on turf seems to be just a little tougher.
