Dixie gave up a lot of rushing yards against Campbell. I see Jared having a big night. I'd also like to see the other backs breaking out.

They have about 55 players. A lot of players going both ways.

 

Against Campbell they ran the balloff tackle and between the tackles with sporadic success against Campbell.

 

Quarterback seems poised and threw a good short game with good accuracy. His only long ball went to a wide open Ochoa.

 

Defensive line was not big but made a lot of penetration with stunts against Campbell. Campbell would gain ten then lose three throughout the game.

 

 

Wow ... good numbers there. You hate to hear "a lot of players going both ways" when you have those kind of numbers.

According to the Dixie website, their frosh have only played one game and only have a total of 8 games on the schedule, is that correct? Seems like most schools would like for their frosh teams to play 10 games.

Highlands squeaked one out 14-7.... One score was a pick six.... Austin H. got hurt in the first half, not sure what happened....He was in street clothes before halftime... Jared D. did well running the ball... They have thrown the ball a whopping 7 times in the last two games... Not too tough to scout.... Trips left... right dive... or they really mix it up and have the QB keep on the right dive... Pretty creative play calling.... Going to be interesting when they play a good team.... But hey... a win is a win

Tonight was a squeeker. They have to find another dimension to beat some of the better teams on their schedule.
