gold sunrise
Lexington Christian 13, Louisville Christian 12: Dima Ballard and Justin King connected for two touchdowns and they proved to be enough to hold off the visiting Louisville Christian squad. Louisville Christian took the early lead in the first quarter on a Nathan Christmas 4-yard run. LCA knotted things up with 0:39 left in the half on a Ballard 5-yard pass to King. The Eagles took the lead at the 3:27 mark on a second Ballard-to-King score, this time covering 19 yards. Louisville Christian's Nick Payne scored from 4 yards out with 0:37 left in the game, but a failed Chad Meredith two-point run sealed Louisville Christian's fate. Ballard finished with 111 yards on 11-for-17 passing. King had five receptions for 81 yards with a long of 38. gchs_uk9
Saw LCA in a scrimmage last week. I really like their potential. When their offensive line really starts clicking they could be a challenger in 2A.
