With pleasure...next week, I'll be able to update on here, more easily, than last night. I do apologize.

Allow me to digress somewhat: How did T's future opponents from Cincy - Elder, X Bombers and Moeller- do?

I believe they all start next week.

By the end of the game maybe, but they were dominating the second half from kick off. Their two way guys would have been rested at that point.

I almost felt like they walked in too confident and needed the shock of trailing to wake up. They came together though in the second half.

#7 went out due to cramping early. but ya T looked much better in 2nd half and Coordinator started to call plays that made it easier on the lineman.

Always enjoy your insights. May I assume that you were not even at the game but rather over on Poplar Level instead ? You were probably enjoying the heavyweight battle amongst the Tigers.

Go check that T-BA updates

I was wondering where he went.

I am still not 100% sure how the line will be this season. There were times that I felt Travis was getting no time to throw but that also could have been him fixating too much on Quick. I know that he had a similar issue against Cincy X last year and it took him the better part of a half to get past it.

Quick had 8 catches for 116 yards.

That didn't happen at all.....where do you hear this stuff? He missed plays due to cramping, as did about 5-6 other players encompassing both teams. He didn't stay out. Give it a rest brother, it's getting quite tiresome.

Yeah, but he was bottle necked a lot of the first half, on one pass he had three defenders blanketing him.

Near as I could tell most of that came in the second half after the adjustments were made. The Trinity offense was much better in the second half.

He also seemed to have been shaken up by the fumble earlier as well, took him longer than it should have to let it go.

Thanks for the info.

I believe in the second half Trinity mixed the pass and run better. In the first half it seemed it was heavily pass. I think T could run the ball pretty much exclusively if they wanted to but whether the coaching staff would be satisfied with 3-5 yard gains per play, I don't know. . I am not going to malign the T offensive linemen. This was their first real game together. BTW, DL Bobby Bryant (no. 54) played a very good game, I thought.

Dawkins was very effective the whole game when he was on the field. He gain 7 to 10 yards per touch. If didn't have cramps & Have a 40 yard TD called back he would have rushed for 200 yards plus. I think his final numbers were 18 carries for 132yds with 2 scores & Dawkins missed the most of the 3rd quarter, he then returned in the middle of the 4th quart. My point is T could run the ball at will when ever they wanted.
