July 30, 201214 yr Is there anyone else out there that thinks the Reds will do nada at the deadline? I think they will get another bench bat but nothing huge.

July 30, 201214 yr Author I think they will get another bench bat but nothing huge. I've been more than happy with Paul so far.
July 30, 201214 yr I think they will get another bench bat but nothing huge. I think a guy like Pierre could be that guy. Would help at the top of the lineup and is a LH bat. Or someone like recently DFA'd Nady or Ankiel (although I don't like either option).

July 30, 201214 yr I'm hoping. You hope they don't do anything? Chances are if Walt does something it will improve the team this year.
July 30, 201214 yr Author You hope they don't do anything? Chances are if Walt does something it will improve the team this year. I wouldn't mind seeing them add Pierre if they kept Paul for the bench instead of Cairo.

July 30, 201214 yr Author What's a better option, Paul and Cairo or Pierre and Cairo? Paul and Pierre.
July 30, 201214 yr Paul and Pierre. Right, but that's not going to happen. So would you rather have Paul or Pierre?
July 30, 201214 yr Author Right, but that's not going to happen. So would you rather have Paul or Pierre? I would go with Paul. Pierre can't play CF, so he would just take away AB's from Ludwick.
July 30, 201214 yr If the Reds win tonight it will mean 18 of their last 20. The last time they did that was 1975.
July 30, 201214 yr I would go with Paul. Pierre can't play CF, so he would just take away AB's from Ludwick. Lots of people keep saying that, but how come? He's obviously got more than enough speed for the position. Paul has played 10 total games in CF in his career, and Pierre's played the majority of his career there.

July 30, 201214 yr Dude, you also said Marshall would be a fine closer.:idunno: So let's hear it genius. Why can't a guy that has played roughly 65% of his 1,700+ career games in CF not play there on occasion?
