August 4, 201214 yr Popeye's is the greatest fried chicken(non sandwich style chicken) restaurant. KFC>Popeyes? That's chicken blasphemy. Lee's is good but nothing beats a three piece meal(white meat) with fries, red beans and rice and 2 biscuits. You guys don't know chicken. I know chicken. Trust me. It breaks my heart to see and hear of Popeyes restaurants not representing the franchise properly. Granted, I was baptized in Popeyes in New Orleans and throughout Louisiana so that may be why I love it so much. The one in Danville was good. Wish it was still open. Folks around here don't know nothing about good Cajun food. Word. What he said!
