Track Anthony Davis in the Olympics

Anthony played 8 minutes in the 4th quarter against France. He had 3 points, 3 rebounds and 1 block. He looked a bit tentative at first but played some solid minutes.

A.D. missed an ally oop dunk but came back to connect on an ally oop dunk the next trip down the court. He blocked the French center's shot and came away with the ball.

Team USA is pretty thin at the center position. If Chandler gets into foul trouble or gets dinged up, Anthony could get some meaningful minutes at some point in the tournament.

I've thought the same, depending on the opponent and their lineup he could be necessary, fortunately we know he's capable. Kid can flat out play ball.

It was great to see Anthony Davis walk with Team USA at the Opening Ceremony. He seems like such a nice kid. Glad to see such great things happen for him.

It will be interesting to see if makes an impact at some point in the tournament.

NCAA Player of the year, MVP of the Final Four, #1 pick of the NBA draft and very likely Olympic Gold. Have they given out the Nobel Peace Prize yet? What is left, American Idol, the Bachelor?? Dude is on a roll.

Nice intro on the the kid.

I guess you could have a better year, but it would have to involve Scarlett Johansson.

He looks thicker to me, which is a good thing in my opinion for him.

Was thinking the same thing, they showed a pic of him going up for a dunk and he actually looked like he had some biceps and shoulders on him.

I like the picture of him stepping on Christian Laettner better.

Democrat, Republican or Independent - - we are all united in our disdain of Laettner. (If Timberlake has just wrapped up his legs and wrestled around for a bit...)

USA beat Tunisia 110-63. It was close in the early stages of the game. 21-15 at the end of the 1st quarter. Blow out from then on.

Anthony Davis played quality minutes. He is Tyson Chandler's backup. Chandler banged his hand on the back of the rim and sat out most of his rotation in the 4th quarter. Chandler was sitting on the bench with ice on the top of his hand at the end of the game.

Davis played 13:47 minutes. He went 5 for 5 from the floor. 2 for 2 from the line. 3 rebounds. At least 4 of the 5 were slams. It is starting to look more and more like Anthony will get some quality minutes as the tournament progresses.

He looked very good in his minutes today! Had a lot of nasty oops that made a lot of UK fans reminisce today. He has freakish hands, catches some unreal lobs and finishes through contact! Super gifted!

Looks like Anthony is spending some time in the weight room.

He definitely did not look like that 4 months ago, that strength and size will certainly help him in the league.
