Anyone else going? I haven't seen him in years and decided to buy a ticket as I have some friends coming from out of town to see him.

 

Where could one get a Hawaiian type shirt for the concert?

SG, I wish you had made this request a about three weeks ago, as "The Boss" and I were just in Buffett new casino and restaurant in Mississippi! Would have been more than happy to bring you back a Buffett shirt.

 

BTW the Casino wasn't much to talk about and the MargaritavillE in Orlando and Key West are much, much nicer than in Mississippi. Hopefully since it just opened a couple of weeks prior to us visiting the place, they will get all the problems worked out!

Haven't been in years. When's the concert? They were a good time back in the day. I (my wife really) tossed my Hawaiian shirts years ago or I would let you have one. My guess with Buffett in town most of the local stores will have something. There was a store downtown called Cappels (sp?) that used to carry them.

Haven't seen him in years but one of my favorite because there are so many generations that are all in just having a blast! When is it? It used to be a pretty hard ticket to get because he loves Riverbend.

I have never seen as many "fall down drunk people" in my entire life than I did last year at the Buffet concert. Not even close.

The concert is August 2nd. He hasnt had multiple concerts like he used to in years, He used ro have 6 or 7 shows here.

Less than two weeks away and still not sold out. I can't remember the last time a Buffet show hasn't sold out at Riverbend.

Where is the best tailgating lot? The only times I went in the past we went in limo's and they had a special section for them. We are looking for the best/wildest lots

This will be our 5th in row. First time sitting in pavilion though. You are right CC about the falling down drunks. IMO its one of the reasons that it's not a sellout. We do have an extra ticket I'm needing to unload. PM me for details if anyone knows of anyone looking. The best tailgating lot we've found are the ones that are directly across from Coney Island/Riverbend main entrance.

Good deal! We usually just wander around the tailgating and those two lots seem to be the most happening.

The rookie is definitely right on the best tailgaiting lots. There are usually people tailgaiting on the other side of Riverdowns for concerts, but if you are looking for the wildest you definitely want to be right across the streets on those corners.
