July 18, 201214 yr I'm not sure how much money John Kerry has and maybe he shouldn't have married above his station, but he served his country (and in a time of war at that) and has my appreciation.

Romney demanded that his opponent for governor release her spouse's tax returns.
July 19, 201214 yr Author So long as it was income earned in a legal manner, how does it benefit voters to know? I think instead, all candidates for president, the Senate, the House, and all appointees to the president's cabinet and the Supreme Court should have their past three years tax returns audited and all that should be released are the findings from the audits, ie the returns were compliant with tax laws or one or more were not and the discrepancies were........... I don't have a strong answer to your question. As I said initially , I'm torn. I lean towards them not being required to release them. Interesting story I read said that some Bain execs said that if Gov Romney thought he had to release the returns he would not have been a candidate for POTUS.

July 19, 201214 yr On BGP? Umm, no. Gets back to the class warfare. Joe Biden a couple weeks ago did a whole speech on it. Dems want to paint the picture that all Republicans are old, rich wide dudes. Mitt Romney is that guy.
