Actually the game was tied at 38 after 3 and then PC dominated as Jon Elrod scored the nest 12 points of the game to put it away for the big Red Train.I believe 44 for Brossart was sick as he didnt play much and looked bad.#3 for BB passed up way to many open 3s in the 4th when BB was down by 12 points and needed some scores as he was open several times but didnt even look to shoot.

I wasn't expecting this at all, I thought Brossart would keep it closer.....

Pendleton is defintely the best team in the region, but I personally wouldn't mind seeing this matchup against in the Fieldhouse come early March.......

Brossart will be fine, tough game in Cynthiana on Tuesday, and then a tougher game at Scott a week later, but I see them winning both....

At the point I was mentioning Brossart was winning 24-11. Buddy's boys were really in control from that point on even though they trailed at halftime.

Jon "The Mustang Killer" Elrod is all that needs to be said. :flame:

Jon Elrod is AMAZING! He is my hero.

Great game Wildcats. As I posted earlier if the boys underneath could put up some big numbers and Elrod was hot at the 3 they'd pull out a win. They got focused and came out hot in the second half. Great game cats, go get'em tomorrow. GO CATS!!

Wow nice win Cats. Boy that extra 8 minutes are tough!

Elrod 25 points on the game, and the cats shot 56% on the game

PC dominated the game from the start of the 2nd quarter when they where down by 14 points. They lead as much as 18 points. 32 point turn around I believe this was total domination.

BB did not have a lot of open looks at the 3 in the 4th.

The reason #44 looked bad was because of Patrick"The Beast" Elliot. If big Pat wasn't blocking his shot he was taking him to the hole.

BB started out with great defence in the first quarter. Plus they hit the 3 which was the difference in the first quarter.

2nd quarter PC changed up their offence and started to play defence. The rest is history.

The key to this game was BB had no answer for Elrod.

PC down 14-1st quarter

PC down 7-2nd quarter

Game tied 38-38 3rd quarter

PC wins by 16.

Brossart was red hot in the first, but the defensive adjustments coach Biggs made at halftime were the difference I believe.

J-Rod had a huge game tonight. I think he ended up having like 25 points. Putting up 25 against Brossart is an accomplishment itself. Great game Jon!

Brossart started out hot and they were playing great "D" all at the same time. It a while for PC to regain composure.

The 2nd half was a completely different story.

Pendleton ended up outscoring the Mustangs 42-19 in the 2nd half. From the latest statistics in NKY, it said that BB was only giving up 48.8 ppg. The Wildcats almost reached that in the 2nd half alone led by Elrod's 12 staright in the 4th quarter.

This goes to show you that you must show up and play all 32 minutes against a good team. Brossart looked wore out at the end of the game.

Keep in mind that Pendleton now has a 4 game win streak over Brossart. A lot of the credit goes to the coaching staff at PC: Buddy Biggs, Chad Simms, Brad Cox, Jon Witrth, and Michael Miller.

This will only be PC's 2nd time in the MCIT finals, hopefully this time they can bring home the big hardware. :thumb:

PCHS dominated the second half... Good win for them, I think it'll be closer come February...

IMO, once PC came back to tie it up at the end of 3, all but one of the Mustangs seemed to pack it in.....Never seem a BBHS team quit, but it sure seemed like this one did tonight.

Congrats to PC on the nice win!

Hopefully the rematch will bring about different results!
