July 15, 201214 yr Author Your previous seasons roster is all yours until the cut down date, and the keeper rule is attached to two players on each team after 2 rounds of the draft. Those have been the rules all along...Yes, that's the way it has always been. People have tried to trade players before but it never happened. It was like why would I give you a draft pick for someone you are going to cut. Then this year was different for some reason.

Anyone that does not have two players on roster will draft in rounds 1 or 2 so that everyone will have two players on roster at the end of round two.
July 15, 201214 yr Ray Rice was the guy I wanted all along. I screwed myself and it was pretty funny. At 1 point I had Murray, Fitz, 2 3rds+2 5ths. I now have no 3rds thanks to taking Manning+getting Rice. I was having such a wild night Godot offered Manning for a 4th. I said I'll give you a 3rd lol. Look back in the thread I totally screwed up on that pickup lol. That was a fun few days. Wish I'd realized earlier I could have traded. Excited about the possibility of having Rice+Murray a couple of years if they play to their potential.

Ok, for example Team A kept Matt Forte for example Team B kept no one Team A trades Forte to team B for 2 draft picks after round 2. I'm assuming that A would then be allowed to draft in round 1 and B would then assume the role of having kept Forte and not have a first round pick. Would team A select in there slotted 1st round spot or team Bs slotted 1st round spot. I just didn't know what the rule would be since its after the keeper deadline but before the draft.
