June 13, 201214 yr Author Draft starting a lot later this year isn't it?Yes we are. I'm getting ready to cover those items
June 13, 201214 yr Author Changes for this year: Number One We will be playing a twelve game schedule over weeks one through twelve with no double-header weeks.
June 13, 201214 yr Got a tough decision ahead of me. Keep Gronk and let either McCoy or MJD go? Or let go of Gronk after his absurd season was a key component to the Thuggs destroying scoring records over the last part of the season and the playoffs? Going to be a tough call...
June 13, 201214 yr Author Number Two The starting lineup will drop from 9 players as it has been in the past to 7, consisting of QB, RB, RB, WR/TE, WR/TE, PK, & DEF. The WR/TE spots can be filled by either a WR or a TE.
June 13, 201214 yr Number Two The starting lineup will drop from 9 players as it has been in the past to 7, consisting of QB, RB, RB, WR/TE, WR/TE, PK, & DEF. The WR/TE spots can be filled by either a WR or a TE. That's a major change. No definite TE spot.
June 13, 201214 yr That's a major change. No definite TE spot. Which makes my Gronk decision even more critical...
June 13, 201214 yr Author Number Three Since the starting lineup has dropped to seven players, the roster size will also drop, to 14 players. That will still give you one backup spot on your bench for each of the starting players. Dropping the roster size to 14 also opens up 32 more free agents when it comes to late season pickups.
June 13, 201214 yr Author Number Four Since we will only be drafting 14 players the draft can start almost two weeks later in the year and still get completed by the first NFL game. The BGP FFL season can also wait until mid-May to get started. In years past we have had to start the fist of May in order to get all the business completed before starting the draft around the 4th of July.
