This Week

1. Pendleton Co. (8-2)-Tough win tonight against Campbell in the MCIT, competitive game tommorrow night against Brossart...

2. Bishop Brossart (9-2)-Will be playing for the #1 spot tommorrow night....

3. Mason Co. (10-3)-Should be playing in the MCIT finals Saturday night...

4. Clark Co. (7-3)-Tough game at Bourbon Co. coming up Tuesday...

5. Scott (10-3)-Some more nice wins this week, they continue to move up....

6. Campbell Co. (5-5)-Played Pendleton Co. tough tonight, they deserve the big jump....

7. Harrison Co. (6-6)-Several nice wins down in Florida, but I thought the Brossart score would be closer.....

8. Montgomery Co. (10-3)-Lost to Clay and beat St. Pat by 20, 16 or 17 wins isn't out of the question of this team....

9. Bourbon Co. (6-5)-We'll know more about them Tuesday at home against district rival GRC.....

10. Silver Grove (6-5)-Until someone else in the 10th shows me something, they look pretty set at the #10 spot......

Last Week

1. Pendleton Co. (7-2)- Don't play again till January 5th in the MCIT against Campbell Co.

2. Bishop Brossart (7-2)- Quality wins in the Ashland tournament move them up this week...

3. Mason Co. (9-3)-Couple of tough losses in the 5/3rd, but they played well in the game I saw against Manual....

4. Clark Co. (6-3)-Won a squaker tonight against LCA..

5. Harrison Co. (5-4)-Couple of nice wins in a tournament in Florida

6. Montgomery Co. (9-2)-Feel from #5 because of a loss to June Buchanan, and it appears they aren't playing well in the Berea tournament....

7. Scott (7-3)-Decent wins against Woodford and Wolfe in the Snowball classic....

8. Bourbon Co. (5-5)-I consider Bourbon and Campbell somewhat disappointing so far.....

9. Campbell Co. (5-4)-Appear to not be playing as well as they could be....

10. Silver Grove (5-5)-Beat Bracken tonight for the #10 spot in my poll....

I agree on those rankings Freak. I would say your 6-9 ranked teams are all very close in who is better than the other. The rest of the season and the tourney will prove who is better.

Don't Scott and Campbell play soon? Important game now that the district is seeded!!

Not really. They should both be playing in the 2-3 game come March.

From your comment you think Brossart will be the #1 seed in their district. Brossart comes to Scott to play and that will be a very hard game for them to win. Scott is better than you think.

Good point Tiger--I hear Scott is tough to beat, especially at home!! For the record Brossart goes to Scott on 1/17 and Scott goes to Campbell on 1/26, with both games having huge implications on district seeding!! All BB has going for them to date is the victory over Campbell. This district will be very competitive!!

Question? If Scott beats Brossart and if Campbell beats Scott, how would the tie-breaker work? Thanks.

Blind Draw I believe. Kind of defeats the purpose for seeding. 3 ways ties are a distinct possibility especially for 5 team districts.

Brossart district is seeded.

Don't worry people, Brossart will defeat Scott and you won't have to worry about pulling a pill out of a hat.

We will see. Brossart has played Cake city all year, Scott has had a much tougher schedule than Brossart. Don't count out the eagles. No one from Brossart will slow down Howard. However, who ever the 1 seed is in the district will have a cake walk to regionals either playing Calvary or Silver Grove.

LaSalle and @Holy Cross are Cake games?

2 out of the how many games. Scott has play SK Mason J'town Dixie NCC. I'm just saying Scott has had a way tougher schedule and it is not the push over you seem to think they are. Brossart at Scott will be in for a dog fight. Name for me who on Brossart will stop Kyle Howard. He is averaging a double double a game. Actually he hasn't had one game where he didn't have one.

1)I have never said Scott would be a pushover....some may have but it's never been me.

2)Don't know much on the Howard kid, but I would be confident putting Troy Cooper on him.

3)One player doesn't make a team.....The way you talk, Howard is there whole team.....

So if there is a three way tie, is there a possibility of a blind draw where Calvary and the Grove could play each other and the winner goes to the regionals? And then Brossart, Scott and Campbell would all be on the other side of the bracket?
