May 23, 201214 yr The two school presidents released a joint statement yesterday criticizing the release of this info due to the fact that nothing has been finalized. It will be interesting to see if the leak has an impact on how it plays out.
May 23, 201214 yr Now the fights will move from the court to the stands. Dumb move. Fights on the court are so rare. Obviously there is some bad blood between the two teams, but what is the likelihood that another fight would break out between the players? In my mind, the likelihood is extremely low and if a fight DID break out, the punishment would be so harsh that it'd put an end to the players' seasons.
June 14, 201214 yr I'm universally against neutral-court games and this one is no different. Some UC BOT folks overreacted. Not sure why X agreed. I'd vote they cancel it if it can't be on campus especially when the neutral court is a dump. Add it you've not got suiteholders and season ticket holders that will not be able to get equal seating plus it will decrease revenue for each school .... Cancel it.
