halfstep Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Big district match-up this friday night. Just wanted to see what everyone thought.
Blackcat2007 Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 This is one of those matchups that I feel could go either way, I feel that this is so close that Home Court advandage could be the difference. Pville by 8.
Crazed 15th Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 I see SC winning it on the road in an upset. P'ville has no inside presence and May will do a lot of the dirty work inside. I don't see Williams or Pugh either one being able to stop him. On the other end I don't see SC holding Slone much, but enough to get the W. SC by 12
napster Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Sheldon Clark is one of the most physically impressive teams in the Region. Paintsville is probably the smartest team in the Region. Paintsville by 10.
BasketballJones Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Paintsville is probably the smartest team in the Region. To be so smart they sure make a lot of dumb turnovers!!!!!

D IT UP Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Red birds in a close game. I cant wait for it and I'm not even playing. Please belive that PHS will be rocking Friday night. WE(they) READY!
scjunkie Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 How can someone pick the Tigers when they could not beat a Lawerence co. team that is not very good.I know it was the first game of the season for the tigers but that is no excuse. Sheldon Clark is very underestimated by everyone this year. They may not have alot of wins but they are after all 2-0 in district play. The Cards will be hard to contain tomorrow night. I think May will bust out of his scoring funk and Crum will add a big spark.Juan will show the Tigers what dribble penetration means.I can't wait to see BMR's face when the Cards hand them a big loss on their own court. I pick S.C.H.S. by 10 or more!!!!
Deimos Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Depends on which teams show up. Maybe a Tigers team that everyone was picking before the season started. The teaming they are still growing into. Or the Baby Tiger Throw Back. I think the great team they are growing into will show up. As for my cards, I never know which team is going to show. This team is up and down, just as they have been in the past. Maybe May will drop 30, maybe he won't show up. Need him to get back in a rythm to win this one. Needs to start looking for his shot more often, and take the ball to the goal. Spud will be consistant as always. Not sure which Mr. Carlos will show up. The one that turns the ball over everytime he touches the ball, or the one that scores at will going to the hoop. Either way I know everyone in the gym will be crying walk everytime he touches the ball. Cards by a couple, in a high scoring game.
Nothingbutnet Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Should be a good game! Paintsville is a little better if they show up! If the same Tigers show up that played in the Hoops Classic, then they should have no problem winning. Hope they have learned how to build on a lead though!

The second time the Tigers played LC it was a different story! And apparently you didn't see any of the Tigers Hoops Classic and some of the caliber of teams they beat. I think it will be a very good game myself and I can't wait to watch it! Go Tigers!
