Shocking, I thought Duncum was the guy.

I didn't think that he had any say in the matter. If that was a site based decision then he didn't have a vote.

Knox County does things their own way......

He has coach and played at Union, and coached Somerset. He went to Corbin graduated in 97 I beleive. As a former LC player and fan, Coach Russell has my full support, he is a class act, and I do think he is right choice at this time.

Lets hope that all of the Lynn Camp faithful come around to your way of thinking. Now that there is a coach hired, the focus needs to be about the kids, the team and the school moving forward.

I have talked to three people who were on the committee and all three said they were told not to send Duncum's name that he wouldn't sign off on it.

Let me clarify .....They were told by the superintendent not to send Duncum's name to him.

That sounds about par for the administrators course if it is true. It is their playground over here, and you play by thir rules or they take their ball and go home. That goes for students, parents, teachers, whoever may need to see changes...

As far as what is going on over here not working, it is because it is apparent there is a lack of effort by the whole system that is in place....

Phil Russell did not coach at Somerset. He coached at Pulaski County High in 2003-2005. under John Hines. He then went to East Jessamine(under Coach Bowlin), and he also coached at Montgomery County (under Coach Gooch), before going to Union College.
