I believe in the right to vote, what I have a problem with are the pols that cater to the less then ambitious among us who will continue to vote for them as long as they feel like they are getting something. I am reminded of the highly enlightened woman who declared her passion for Obama because she believed that he was elected she would no longer have to pay for gas or her mortgage or health care or anything for that matter.

May 3, 201214 yr You know what they say about the masses.... Tell me how having women work has been benficial for the country? I know single mom's must work and I applaud them big time. As for others, trying to keep up with others has led to child neglect and the breakdown of the family. In what way are we better off now as a nation than say 1960? Keep that medication rolling. Our nation is on the way down and you all can laugh and mock and argue how everybody should get everything for free and how those that don't pay federal income tax are entitled to everything they want. Let me know in 20 years and China will be the undisputed world leader in every way....inflation will be rampant in the USA, and we will have caved under the weight of our own debt. Wow. The wealthy rig the game against everyone else, then send out their shills to make those underachievers feel guilty about it. Exactly how do you expect middle class families -- a dying breed, mind you -- get by in a society whose cost to participate keeps going up with 3/5 the income (acknowledging the fact that women lag well behind in earning potential to men)? Are you really that wealthy that you can get by with a single-parent household and live comfortably? My next question, of course, would be are you really that out of touch with the reality of what's going on in American society, where it's a big "sorry about your luck" middle finger to the bulk of the population who weren't so fortunate as to hit the birth lottery?
