One could argue Greg Popovich is the best coach in all of sports. R.C. Buford is the greatest GM no person has ever heard of. While I do not think my Spurs will win the title, what they are consistently able to do never ceases to amaze me.

April 9, 201214 yr Spurs are always contenders. It's amazing considering Duncan and Ginobili are getting old. I'm still surprised every year that Duncan is able to play well. I'd love to see Duncan get #5 this year.

April 9, 201214 yr Weren't they a 1 or 2 seed last year? I think they'll lose in the first round this year regardless of seed or opponent. That being said they have a been a model of success and consistency for a very long time and they owe a large amount of the success to Tim Duncan.

Yes, but it also worth noting the Ginobli got hurt the last game of the regular season. Not sure it would have mattered. The Grizzlies were not a good match-up for them last season.
