I like Owens in a slam dunk competition vs. anyone in Kentucky, especially at his height. He is 6'0" stretching 6'1"...so his dunks are quite impressive.

Hey Nets. The owens kid had some nice

dunks at Campbell Co :thumb:

I'll take BC by 10! JC is a hard place to play at and if the "good Eagles" show up it will be a good game. However, if the "bad Eagles" show up then BC will kill them!

does boyd have a good point gaurd or do they have to pass the ball through the pressure?

Remerber this name OWENS. :thumb:

Owens can break down any pressure that is given just because he is so quick, so he will generally bring the ball up the court. But BC also has 3 other players on the court who can also bring up the ball in Branham,Shannon, and Blanton, who was actually the starting point guard last season.

I'm going with JC in the upset:

Johnson Central 69

Boyd County 66

Are you joking black wire? You consider yourself a fan? The Owen's kid may be the best guard in the state. Do us all a favor? Read a sports page!!!!

I knew he could score i didnt Know if he dribbled throw the press or if they tried to pass through presses.... Yes i know hes good i seen the thread were he had something like 53 points.... But teams that try to pass threw Jcs press normally dont do so well.. Its the gaurds that try to dribble through it that burn them like Crum from Sheldon Clark did.

How many players do you know that score an average of over 35, and have scored in the 40's and 50's that pass?? :D

Owens actually leads Boyd in assists, but he will probably just dribble around or thru a press.

True, he sounds like an all around player if he scores that much and leads the team in assist...

He will give JC some problems then....

I hope not to many problems GO EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Owens gives everyone problems :thumb:

I wouldn't consider it an upset if JC wins. Pre-season number 2 in the region playing at home. They should win!!

I agree with this. But I dont know how much of an upset this would be.

Maybe we ought to follow your Tomcats on every forum and predict them to lose....Come on, dont be a hater! Every post you have to say is negative towards Owens and the Lions, give them some credit. :irked:
